**RICK JAWNSUN CAN PLAY ACOUSTIC AND FULL BAND SHOWS**

Music has always been an inspiration to Rick Jawnsun, especially through his younger years; he has always had an ear for music. His first set of music instruments were a few five gallon buckets set side by side along with the most durable pair of branches Rick could find which were taken off a nearby pecan tree which he used as drum sticks. Music was what he heard while playing those drums, and let’s just say that’s not what his family heard. Listening to great musicians at local gatherings in the small town of Castroville, Texas made Rick realize he wanted more than just a member of the crowd. He wanted to be on the stage picking his guitar and singing good music. Five years in the army made him realize that music was the medicine to feed his soul. In August of 2007, Rick picked up his Fender Stratocaster guitar that his favorite father-n-law gave him as a birthday present. Rick learned how to play really quick, mostly teaching himself. Almost immediately he started to learn songs that were played by the musicians he admired most. The Red Dirt and Texas Country music scene has inspired him greatly. Rick has kept his feet moving along the musician’s path which contains numerous hurdles that try to make him fall to his knees but with motivation, loyalty to guitar, and music, he keeps on succeeding with pride.
