While in High School, Chelsea Bushong started her professional performing career playing many weddings and back ground event. Chelsea graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in harp performance from Oklahoma City University. During college, Chelsea began her private harp studio and was hired to perform with many different orchestras including the Ft. Smith Symphony, Tulsa Symphony, and the Enid Symphony. She has also played substitute principal harp for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Chelsea graduated with honors with her Masters of Music degree at University of Central Oklahoma in harp performance and is now University of Central Oklahoma’s harp professor. Chelsea loves getting to be a part of such special events in people’s lives such as anniversary parties, honorary dinners, funerals, and weddings. Chelsea says “it means so much to me to be a part of those moments and I feel it is a great honor!” “What a wonderful job to bring the joy of music to people!” Chelsea's husband Aaron plays both the violin and viola, and they make a fantastic duo!
