HOOK is a five or eight piece band dedicated to playing dance music for wedding receptions and private parties. The blend of current music, retro favorites from the 70’s and 80’s, and classic Rock-n-Roll songs make this band an easy choice for any client. In order to keep everyone at your party happy, HOOK has some country songs available as well, unlike many other dance bands. HOOK also features a male and female lead singer – so the band is never limited of what songs it can select. With the average age being around 30, this band is young enough to be fun and old enough to be professional. HOOK is the perfect choice for any party where you want people to have a great time! They also bring along their sound guy who will act as a DJ on breaks, so it’s the best of both worlds.

HOOK can also perform as an eight-piece by adding a three-piece horn section for an additional fee. Ask your agent for more information.

Let me just say that Hook was INCREDIBLE! They sounded so great! So so many people were asking who they were and everyone was really impressed with their sound. They sounded as good or better than the groups that actually recorded the songs! Before our event I was a little worried that a reception so early in the day might not be as much of a party/dance atmosphere as one later at night, but the dance floor was completely full the entire time. They were exactly what I hoped for! Really they just helped make my daughter’s wedding a perfect night. There is not one thing I would change – their playlist was perfect, they interacted well with the crowd, they followed the schedule to the second. HOOK was absolutely awesome!  I was a little nervous about booking a band based off YouTube videos, but wow!  They definitely brought their A-Game.  I’m so happy we decided to go with HOOK instead of a DJ.  The band members of HOOK arrived on time and were dressed to impress! They did SUCH A GREAT JOB! It’s been a week since our wedding event and I’m still receiving compliments. Even my parents, who are both in their 60’s loved them! I am so happy with our band choice. I have zero negative comments to make about our experience with Box Talent and only great compliments to give the members of HOOK. My only regret is not booking the seven piece band! Unfortunately, we thought we’d be facing space constraints so we went with the four piece band. Overall though, HOOK was awesome. The staff at our event venue, Oakwood Country Club, also had only great compliments to give. They kept our dance floor packed and everyone at our event absolutely loved them. Just wanted to let you know Audrey’s wedding was wonderful. The reception attended by about 200 people was beautiful, and Hook was incredible. We danced to their wonderful music until midnight.
