Artist Information
I have been a harpist for over 30 years, spending the first part of that time in classical training and the latter part of that time as a performing contemporary artist. I have enjoyed a 20+ year international music career, performing with a wide variety of orchestras, chamber groups, jazz combos and rock bands as well as as a soloist. I have a wide and varied repertoire which includes classical performance pieces, jazz, blues, rock, Latin, Celtic, country, bluegrass, folk, R&B, pop and original music. I sing professionally as well, and can accompany myself whether solo or leading a combo. I am also happy to provide instrumental music. I also perform on Keyboard as a blues and rock artist and front a rock combo with this lineup. I recently released my 7th studio album, and am looking forward to the release of my third all-original album this summer. Former highlights include a residency at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu and an appointment as a Jazz Ambassador to the U.S. Consulate in Shanghai. Present Harpist with Mariachi Orgullo de las Americas. I perform solo as well as with a wide range of talented instrumentalists, and am happy to put together a combo of whatever instrumentation is desired.
I also have extensive experience playing weddings, and have a wide range of appropriate classical and contemporary repertoire. I also offer a custom composition service to arrange/compose music to specifications for weddings and special events.
