Some have described Ckai as a modern-day version of Neo-Soul meets the Passion of Gospel and the freedom of Rock with a splash of the old school R&B.
Hailing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoama, Ckai is a woman on a mission to make great music, while inspiring others along the way. At 18, Ckai started doing backgrounds and public events with many of the industry’s best such as…. Monica, Marcus Houston, Jagged Edge, Keri Hilson, Issac Hayes, Atlantic Starr, Morris Day and the Time, The Delfonics, Midnight Star, Donald Lawrence, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin and Tamala Mann just to name a few artists. She has worked with super producer Kenny Gamble of Philadelphia International Records.
Currently, Ckai is enhancing her sound and working on her 3rd project with her band “Elevation” and producing a new sound of music she has affectionately coined “Organic soul.”.
