The Gentlefolks are a 1930’s Hot Club Jazz band from Norman, OK dedicated to keeping the music of Django Reinhardt alive and swinging. The band has many members, but at it’s core, they are a trio. With two acoustic guitars and a stand up bass played by Mike Ritchie, Benjamin Hutchens, Nicholas Fedder The Gentlefolks will take you back to a time where you can leave your cares at the door and wallow in the moment with class. The music is as complex as it is simple allowing for deep thought about the music itself or to just play in the background like the soundtrack to your life. Either way, you’ll be a toe tappin’ and a finger snappin’ for days.
