The Wavetones
Artist Information
In order to accommodate any situation, The Wavetones have put together several variations of the group to help meet any need you may have when searching for the perfect band. Below is a list of their three most popular options with some basic information on each option. Slight variations can be made to these options in an effort to better meet your needs and budget. Just ask your agent for more information!
The Wavetones can perform completely solo or as a 17-piece band. So, whatever you are wanting… they can do it! They even offer a 16-piece lineup that will play nothing but traditional Big Band Jazz & Swing, just the way the legends like Glenn Miller used to play. Make sure to view their songlist to see the many different types of music The Wavetones offer.
Whether you are looking for a band for a wedding reception, corporate event, fraternity or sorority party, prom, debutante party, corporate event, fundraiser, etc., The Wavetones can make your event special!
6-PIECE GROUP:
DJ/soundman, drums, 2 female vocalists, male lead vocalist/guitar/keyboard and bassist/guitarist
*This lineup is best for smaller events and is capable of doing two completely different types of music:
softer dinner music – perfect for smaller parties such as wedding rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, anniversaries, or parties at a residence.
High energy rock/dance – perfect for high school dances, fraternity & sorority parties, any school related event, wedding receptions, or clubs and casinos.
Even though this particular lineup is very diverse, they are not able to offer/perform any of the Big Band Jazz or Swing music due to the lack of a horn section.
9-PIECE GROUP:
DJ/soundman, drums, 2 female vocalists, male lead vocalist/guitar/keyboard and bassist/guitarist, 3pc horn section – trumpet, trombone, tenor sax
**To play without breaks – would be an additional fee – ask your agent.
*This is probably their most popular lineup, offering some of the energy & elegance you would get from the 12-piece lineup without the expense.
If you are looking for a band that incorporate traditional Big Band Jazz music as a small role in the setlist, this is the perfect option.
Not only can they play some of the great Swing & Big Band classics, but with the added 3-piece horn section, all the great dance songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s come alive, as well. The addition of the horn section REALLY makes all the difference!
13-PIECE GROUP:
DJ/soundman, drums, 2 female vocalists, male lead vocalist/guitar/keyboard and lead guitarist, 7pc horn section – 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 3 sax – tenor sax, alto sax, bari sax
The-13 piece band is able to do as much traditional Big Band Jazz music as you want with all the authenticity you could ever hope for! They can perform all the songs the 6- and 9-piece lineups can… only BIGGER & BETTER! Ask your agent about The Wavetones 17-piece band as well.
**To play without breaks would be an additional fee. Ask your agent.
*This is certainly one of the most incredible bands you will see in this part of the country. If your event is of the utmost importance and you want nothing but the best… THIS IS THE BAND YOU WANT!

Client Reviews
The Wavetones were seriously amazing. The dance floor was never empty. In fact, we ran out of dance floor and people were spilling over into the carpeted area! I couldn’t have been happier with them. They worked with us on everything and we have already had tons of compliments on the band. I will recommend them to everyone. I can’t say enough great things about them. – Mr. & Mrs. Wente
We were extremely pleased with the service we received! The music was exactly what we wanted and we received SO MANY compliments on the band . We will definitely be recommending them to all our friends and family. We would love to use the band again if we plan any future events. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding reception amazing and so much fun!! – Laura
By the end of the night, I don’t think there was one person that wasn’t out on the dance floor having the best time of their life! I also can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard from guests that they were the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. – Cade
It was FANTASTIC!! The Wavetones were wonderful and a perfect touch at the event. What a great repertoire they have and boy do they do everything well. We had many compliments and had some dancers who were then until the very last song. – Trish
I just wanted to drop a little note to you and thank you so much for all of your help with The Wavetones. They were absolutely FABULOUS at my wedding! The crowd loved every bit of it and enjoyed all of the songs they played. I couldn’t have imagined it any other way. – Jessica
The band was great last night! The dance floor was full all night. The girls looked great in their jumpers and all the guys wore the jerseys. Thank you for your help and coordinating it all. The Wavetones are so easy to work with. – Theresa
The Wavetones were AMAZING! They knew how to read the crowd, and kept the party going long into the night. Our wedding was three weeks ago, and I am still getting phone calls about how great The Wavetones were. I cannot recommend them highly enough. – 2016 The Knot
The Wavetones were fantastic!! We NEVER had an empty dance floor, which is a giant relief to a bride. Much to my delight, the dance floor ended up being so full that people were dancing around on the carpeted area next to it. I had a ton of people asking me who the band was. They know how to read a crowd and weren’t phased by our more rambunctious guests. They worked with us up until the very last minute and were very clear with and professional in all our communication. Did I mention flexible? Because that band worked with us on EVERYTHING. I can’t say enough great things about them. – 2017 The Knot
Dave and the Wavetones provided a first class performance. Many thought they were from Dallas. The CEO of the company really liked them too. They are already talking about making it an annual event instead of every 5 years. I personally have sore feet from dancing so much. They covered all of the good ones and sounded wonderful. – Carter Healthcare
