Tyler Russel
Artist Information
A native of Yukon, Oklahoma, Tyler Russell began playing guitar at the age of 20. Eventually, he worked his way into playing regular acoustic shows in OKC, Tulsa, and Stillwater. During his years playing solo shows all over the state, he would meet many lifelong friends and musicians, some of whom would help him to form the Renegades. Since the group’s inception in 2015, they have played thousands of shows across the southern and midwestern parts of the U.S., showcasing their own mix of country and rock. In 2018, the band independently released its first album titled “Fairchild”. In the wake of their first record, they began opening shows for red dirt heavy hitters such as Cody Canada, Mike McClure, and Stoney Larue.
